Bandleader Donna Spitzer is a lifelong professional Bay Area vocalist, a favorite for private parties and corporate events. After her engagements at The Hotel Alpha Sapporo Playboy Club in Japan, Donna has appeared locally at The Starlite Room of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel, The Terrace Bar at the Claremont Hotel, Hotel Mac, Jo Lo Coco's, at Sausalito's no name bar, Pearls, Cetrella, The Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton, The Corinthian and St Francis Yacht clubs, and numerous other venues in Marin County. She has entertained with her former variety band, The Full Tilt Band and now with Sweet City Blues, for corporate affairs, fundraisers, Country club events, galas, private parties, restaurants and dance clubs.
Sweet City Blues's bandmembers have played at Monterey Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz Festivals, at Harrah's and the Nugget in Tahoe, and with such renowned musicians such as Dan Hicks and The Hot Licks, Van Morrison, Taj Mahal and others.
